# Token Utility & Mechanics

The $ROBA token is a developer-first utility powering rewards, access, and reputation across the ROBA ecosystem. It is not speculative - it exists only where it adds clear value.

#### Token Economics Flow

1. **Earn**: Developers win challenges, publish assets, merge contributions → receive $ROBA airdrop rewards
2. **Spend**: Redeem $ROBA for compute, premium assets, fee discounts, access gates
3. **Stake**: Lock $ROBA for listing privileges, governance weight, priority access
4. **Improve**: Contributions improve ecosystem → attract more users → increase demand
5. **Reward**: Growing demand increases token utility → creators earn more → cycle reinforces

#### Deflationary Mechanisms

1. **Challenge Deposit Burns**: 10% of forfeited deposits burned
2. **Governance Burns**: Failed proposals forfeit deposits
3. **Buyback & Burn**: 15% of total profits contribute to buybacks and burns across all products (No-code studio + Compute + Asset marketplace)
4. **Unclaimed Rewards**: 10% burned / 90% recycled after 90-day expiry
